COP17 Summit in Durban

COP17 Summit in Durban
Caroline Kende-Robb, the APP Executive Director, went to Durban to launch the latest APP policy brief "Transforming Africa's development path - What Durban needs to deliver". The report emphasizes that COP17 must deliver on three critical areas:

Deliverable 1: Set a clear path towards a legally binding international agreement to cap greenhouse gas emissions
Deliverable 2: Launch Green Climate Fund with focus on adaptation and make promised financing a reality
Deliverable 3: Financing for a climate-resilient African Green Revolution
and highlights the need for strong leadership.
